KID'S EYE TESTS
Children are often unaware that they have a problem with their vision so picking up the signs can be difficult.
Bringing them in for regular eye tests is a simple way to monitor their eye health and ensure that any issues can be caught and corrected early on. Our team are experienced in children’s eye test examinations and they work hard to make the process as interactive and relaxed as possible.
Your child may also be able to get free eye tests through the NHS – children under 16 and young people under 19 in full-time education are entitled to free eye tests.
WHAT IS MYOPIA AND WHY IS IT AN ISSUE?
Myopia or shortsightedness is a common condition where near objects are clear but distant objects are blurry and unfocused.
It is now estimated that myopia affects 30% of the global population and that number is increasing with more and more children being diagnosed with myopia.
The good news is that increasingly effective technology is being created to control the development of myopia – we offer myopia-control contact lenses that have been proven to slow the progression of myopia.
